Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and MobileCodeAI, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("MobileCodeAI", "we", "us"), governing your use of the MobileCode iOS app and the account management site at mobilecode.ai (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

MobileCode is an AI coding assistant app. Some features require a paid subscription plan. Plans and pricing are described on the account page at mobilecode.ai/account and may change from time to time; we'll give reasonable notice before a price change takes effect for existing subscribers.

Accounts

You sign in with GitHub. You're responsible for keeping your GitHub account secure — activity through your account is treated as authorized by you.

Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid plans are billed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor, on the account management site — not through Apple's in-app purchase system.
• Subscriptions are monthly and auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal (mobilecode.ai/account → Manage billing); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access through the time you already paid for.
• Switching between paid plans (e.g. Standard to Pro) takes effect immediately: the new plan starts right away at its full price, with no proration and no refund for unused time on the plan you switched from. If you've scheduled a cancellation and then choose a plan, that cancellation is called off and your subscription continues on the new plan.
• Usage credit included with a paid plan is a monthly allotment, not a rollover balance — it resets with each billing period, and unused credit does not carry over. Downgrading to the Free plan resets your credit to the Free plan's allotment.
• We don't provide prorated refunds for unused time in the current billing period. If you're charged in error, email us within 30 days of the charge and we'll investigate and refund if warranted.
• If a payment fails, we may downgrade your account to the Free plan after Stripe's retry attempts are exhausted.

Acceptable Use

Don't use the Service to violate the law, infringe others' rights, abuse or overload our infrastructure, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or billing. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." AI-generated code and suggestions may contain errors — review anything the Service produces before relying on it, especially before deploying code to production. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MobileCodeAI, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
